How to Find Your Claude Monthly Recap
Open Reflect in Claude's settings to see your most active day, peak hour, total conversations, topics and a suggested next step.
Claude has a monthly recap that shows you how you actually use it. It lives in your settings, and it's a beta for Free, Pro and Max plans on the web and Claude Desktop. Here's how to find it and what each part shows.
Before you start, check that memory is switched on in Claude. The recap won't show without it.
1. Open Settings, then Reflect
On the web or in Claude Desktop, open Settings and choose Reflect. The recap is rolling out gradually, so if you can't see Reflect yet, it may not have reached your account. Check back later.
2. Read your stats
Your recap shows a few simple numbers and charts about how you use Claude:
- Your most active day.
- Your peak hour, so you can see when you use Claude most.
- Your total conversations.
- A daily activity chart.
- A breakdown of your topics.
3. Change the time range
Use the dropdown to choose how far back to look. You can pick this month, the past month, 3 months, 6 months or 12 months. A longer range can help you spot the topics you come back to most.
4. Check Expanding your skills
The Expanding your skills section suggests ways to get more from Claude. It gives you a next step, like creating a skill or a project. If it suggests a project and you're not sure where to begin, you can ask Claude to help you plan one. Start with:
I'd like to set up a Claude project for [topic]. Ask me three short questions about what I use it for, one at a time. Then write short instructions I can paste into the project.Swap [topic] for something you chat about often, like revision, meal planning or your small business.
5. Set quiet hours and breaks
The "Set quiet hours and breaks" option opens Settings, then Time and focus. There you can turn on break reminders and set quiet hours.
