Make WhatsApp Stickers From Your Photos With ChatGPT

ChatGPT can turn a photo of your pet or a friend into a set of stickers you can use in WhatsApp or iMessage. If you'd rather not use a photo, you can describe a sticker in words instead. It all happens in the ChatGPT phone app, and it's available to all ChatGPT users on mobile, around the world.

You'll need the ChatGPT app on your phone and a ChatGPT account. Here's how to make your first set, one step at a time.

1. Find Stickers in the app

Open the ChatGPT app and open the sidebar. On some versions of the app, this is called More. Tap Images, then tap Stickers.

2. Pick a style

Choose a style for your stickers from the options shown. If you're not sure which one to pick, choose the one you like most. You can try a different style next time.

3. Add a photo or describe what you want

Add a photo from your phone, such as your pet or a friend. Pick a photo where the face is easy to see.

If you don't want to use a photo, you can just describe what you want. Start with:

A cute cartoon cat wearing a tiny party hat, with big eyes and a happy face

Or say:

A friendly cartoon dog holding a cup of tea, in bright colours

Keep your description short and clear. Say who or what the sticker shows, what they're doing and the colours you'd like.

4. Choose your emojis

Choose the emojis you want for your stickers. ChatGPT then makes a set of stickers for you.

5. Add them to WhatsApp or iMessage

When your stickers are ready, tap Add to chat apps. You can then add them to WhatsApp or iMessage and send them in your chats, just like any other sticker.

Good to know

• Stickers is in the ChatGPT phone app. It's available to all ChatGPT users on mobile, globally.
• Making stickers counts towards your image generation limits. Keep this in mind if you make lots of images in one day.
• Always ask before you use a friend's photo. It's their face, so it's their choice.
• If you can't find the sidebar, look for More instead. If you still can't see Stickers, check that your app is up to date.
